Proud and Prouder

Sadly, I have no photo's to add because someone has misplaced the cord to the camera......obviously the same 'someone' that leaves the tiniest bit of milk or juice in the bottom of the carton.....

Will have some photo's soon of some lovely home made cards and gorgeous flower pens.

Had a fabulous Friday night at The Special Olympics Variety Ball where Harry ( Athlete Son going to Athens next June for Softball) spoke in front of 620 people! Had them eating out of his hand.........and laughing!

So incredibly proud of him! And to think I was told he would probably never walk or talk....if only they could see him now.

My Dad on a Harley!

I was going through some of the photo's on my desktop, wondering what on earth I had accumulated and found this great one of my Dad. My Sister bought him a Harley ride for his Birthday and because she is in London I took him....SO much fun watching him.

Joining in........

I think my family has put me to shame
It seems like fun, maybe I'll join this game

I won't be eloquent like Julie or witty like Kate
They have raised the bar, hope I haven't left it too late.....

With 4 kids and 2 dogs, working part time as a Barista
I do as much work as a Mrs AND Mr

And finding enough time is always the excuse
Somebody surely needs to kick my caboose

Having such clever family can be a hard pill to swallow
But if I add to my blog, maybe someone will follow.......

athens here we come

Well, it has taken me about 3 months to put another post up, and again it involves my Son Harry. After playing like a champion in Adelaide he has been chosen for the Australian side for Softball and now will head to Athens next June for the Special Olympics Summer World Games. And of course, I would be a terible Mother if I didn't go too!! Expensively, the rest of the family want to come as well.......why wouldn't they???

So, I am now going mad looking up great deals for Greece next year!

Have a great day xx

Hi there,

I am very new to this.

I am a Mother of 4. All still at home! Ben (22), Sam (20), Harry (18), and Grace (14).

I LOVE pink!!!
I love everything vintage and shabby chic, reading, patchwork and watching old movies instead of doing any kind of housework!!
Am heading off to Adelaide tomorrow morning with son no. 3. He is representing NSW in softball for the Special Olympics National Games.
Cheers
Lisa
